The summer and the Wilder Kaiser mountain are a true dream team. Nature lovers hike up mountains and climb peaks, before relaxing in our sunny flower garden with an incomparable view to the Wilder Kaiser mountain range. Here you will find both relaxation and adventure: After a short hike and a hearty breakfast on the mountain, you can jump into the refreshing water of a deep blue mountain lake, take a trip with your bike or e-bike or check out the Wilder Kaiser golf course in Ellmau.

Experience unforgettable holidays at the foot of the majestic Wilder Kaiser mountains and explore the nature reserve. Several tours lead you through fairytale forests, over picturesque alpine meadows and up to impressive peaks. The numerous hiking trails and via ferratas of various degrees of difficulty are well signposted and maintained. Early birds are rewarded with a "breakfast on the mountain" with Tyrolean specialties at one of the traditional alpine mountain huts. Families also have great fun in the 7 mountain adventure worlds of the Wilder Kaiser region.

☀️ watch the sunset on the Astberg mountain
With more than 350 km of cycle and mountain bike trails, there is a track for every age and ability. You can explore the villages and nature at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountain in peace and quiet by bike or more comfortably by e-bike or venture out on the challenging mountain routes and downhill trails on a mountain bike. You can easily rent bicycles and e-bikes from a local shop.

In summer picturesque mountain lakes such as the Hintersteiner See in Scheffau provide refreshment with a view. The nearby Going bathing lake with its large sunbathing lawn and amazing panoramic view of the Wilder Kaiser was voted the most beautiful natural bathing lake in Tyrol. Children are also enthusiastic about the Going bathing lake and the water playground with slides. The Kaiserbad in Ellmau also ensures bathing fun with slides and a children's playground.

🏖️ jump into the "Hintersteiner" mountain lake after a hike to the Stöfflhütte & rent a Stand Up Paddle
The 27-hole golf course at the foot of the imposing Wilder Kaiser mountain range is one of the most scenic in the Alps and offers you an exclusive game of golf in an incomparable scenery. The 9-hole Mühlberghof golf course, also located in Ellmau, is ideal for a relaxed game of golf in a family atmosphere. Green fees are available there without club membership.
